About the Financial Controller Role at Financial Controller
F2 Finance is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our growing firm. Our firm operates a real estate lending platform focused on lending to property entrepreneurs in the residential 'fix & flip' market, and we run a fund marketed directly to accredited investors and RIAs. We also collaborate with two institutional investors providing additional lines of funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Evolve financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Collaborate to achieve financial goals and objectives.
- Monitor financial performance and guide management decisions.
- Oversee accounts, ledgers and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Manage balance sheets, internal controls, and financial systems.
- Regular reconciliation and reporting of loan-related transactions.
- Account for payroll, benefits and work with external auditors.
- Assist with NAV calculations, investor distributions, and reporting for the fund.
- Lead system implementations and process optimization projects.
Experience & Skills
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a relevant professional accreditation (CPA), 7+ years of accounting experience preferably with funds management and real estate lending experience, proficiency in QuickBooks, and strong communication skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines is essential.
