This role is within the Web Marketing discipline, focusing on digital content consultation.
The Opportunity
The Digital Content Editor is responsible for editing, reviewing, and managing content for our flagship website, ey.com/global, ensuring it aligns with our editorial strategy and meets quality criteria. You will actively partner with marketers around the world, advising them on how to effectively bring their content to life, and helping them polish content to enhance our brand, serve users, and drive site engagement. You will be a critical part of the team implementing governance and quality controls on content planned and published by marketers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Quality review content submitted for publication on ey.com/global, providing constructive, specific feedback on required corrections.
- Work collaboratively with digital design and production teams.
- Successfully juggle competing priorities and multiple projects.
- Manage site updates as needed when tools, marketing strategies, and best practices change.
- Work closely with marketers to support the end-to-end publishing process for select projects.
- Develop ideas to enhance and improve the global website and publishing processes.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Write/edit web copy that’s engaging, brand-compliant, and search engine-optimized.
- Advise senior stakeholders on shaping ideas into compelling content with a distinct point of view that adds value to the target audience.
- Advocate for digital best practices and how to use different content types/formats and design elements to create effective, engaging user experiences.
- Make decisions throughout a project that balance meeting deadlines and original project requirements.
- Work independently to complete multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- Excellent US English written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of global message reception.
- Strong understanding of digital publishing and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of SEO relating to content development.
- Experience working within a content management system to create outstanding digital experiences.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Strong project and time management ability.
Ideally, You'll Also Have
- Experience and comfort working closely with global teams.
- A good eye for effective use of imagery.
- An eye for design and basic knowledge in design software such as Photoshop and MS Office.
- A basic understanding of HTML.
Technologies and Tools
- Basic understanding of AEM tool.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree.

- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Digital content editing.
