Our Technology Strategy & Transformation team empowers clients with business and digital enablement through technology strategy, architecture, and advisory services. Operating within a global and EMEIA network, we provide C-Suites with insights to derive business value from technology investments. As a Technology Strategy & Transformation Senior Manager/Associate Director, you will help clients solve business problems and leverage opportunities in an ever-changing marketplace. You'll translate business strategy into technology strategy, build enabling target operating models, and develop technology initiatives and roadmaps for cost-efficient transitions. Your information technology knowledge will bring significant value to clients. We seek an energetic IT Strategy resource with a fundamental understanding of IT strategy development, execution, and cost optimisation.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with developing and implementing technology strategy and transformation initiatives, including business case development.
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of engagements, including technology transformations and related services.
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, and maintaining communication with team members and leadership.
- Build strong internal relationships within EY Technology Consulting and across other service lines.
- Support practice growth through developing relevant industry and technology thought leadership material.
- Ensure compliance with EY quality and risk management processes across all projects and interactions.
Skills and Attributes for Success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- An undergraduate or graduate degree.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in delivering technology projects, including IT strategy, technology assessment, IT cost optimisation, application/portfolio rationalisation, technology vendor management, or related roles.
- Experience in project delivery as a team member or team lead.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience in any technology area, including Technology/Digital Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, system implementation, and Agile software development.
- Experience in innovative and emerging technology, e.g., AI/GenAI.
- Experience in cloud-based technology, e.g., Azure, AWS.
- Experience in cost optimisation, including financial analysis, technology vendor management, strategic planning, and process improvement.
- TOGAF or any EA architecture domain-related certification, Scrum, ITIL certification, or any technology vendor certification (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle etc.).
- Proficiency in using office connectivity and productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to use effective written and verbal business communication skills when interacting with clients and team members.
