Role Overview
This role is responsible for reviewing multi-country Corporate or Group Accounting processes, including General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliation, month-end processes, preparation of Management Packs, and Financial Statements as per US GAAP. The opportunity is to work in a multi-country or Group Accounting process, implement process improvements with lean ideas, enforce uncompromising controls, and improve quality. The Senior role reports to the Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounting experience including Group Accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, Balance Sheet reconciliation, and financial year closing processes. Experience in the power/energy sector is preferred.
- Exposure to HealthCare/MedTech/Pharma is preferred.
- Meticulous adherence to the client's compliance calendar to ensure smooth closure of books, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Gain a thorough understanding of client business processes and operations to identify requirements and ensure they are met through regular updates, schedules, and reports.
- Maintain dashboards to demonstrate progress of activities and the status quo of multi-country engagements.
- Willingness to challenge status quo processes and desire to implement process improvements by providing lean ideas, enforcing an environment with uncompromising controls, and improving quality.
- Review the progress dashboard of multi-country engagements and participate in review meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Foster working relationships with the team and across departments.
- Manage additional project-related responsibilities as well as ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- Qualified Chartered Accountants (CA, ACCA, or CPA) with 3 years of experience, OR B.COM, M.COM, CA Inter, or MBA with overall 5 years of experience.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in accounting.
- End-to-end knowledge of accounting processes and principles (IFRS, US GAAP).
- Knowledge of ERP systems like Workday, SAP, MS Business Central, etc.
