As a Senior Consultant Quantitative Advisory Services - Financial Services Risk Management, you will use analytics and quantitative techniques to help clients solve risk management challenges, drive business efficiencies, and control risks in client portfolios.

The Opportunity

You will work on high exposure quantitative projects involving the development and validation of financial risk models, including market and credit risks. Projects also focus on integrating new topics like AI and ESG into risk frameworks.

The Team

The QAS team applies advanced quantitative techniques in the financial services sector. You will collaborate on projects ranging from model development and documentation to risk management transformations, while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver risk management and governance solutions for financial institutions.
  • Develop, implement, document, and benchmark financial risk models.
  • Establish strong relationships with client personnel and drive quality service.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives including career development and recruiting.
  • Assist in preparing client reports and maintaining model documentation.

Required Skills and Attributes

You must have 2-5 years of financial services experience and a strong academic background with at least a Master’s degree in a quantitative field. Hands-on experience with financial risk models, familiarity with software environments like Python, R, VBA, Java, C++, SQL, Matlab, or .NET, and a passion for driving business development is essential.

Desirable Qualifications

Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CQF, along with project and stakeholder management experience, are an advantage.
