The Opportunity
As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing automation expediency, suggesting and building automation approaches and frameworks, automating manual test cases, and executing regression tests. You will work with automation tools such as Selenium and Protractor, use frameworks like TestNG and Cucumber BDD, and implement automation testing for web and mobile applications. Expertise in Java is essential, with additional knowledge in VB scripting and Python seen as an advantage.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Framework Architecture development and enhancement
- Building framework components and libraries
- Automating web application testing using Selenium WebDriver with TestNG
- Webservice automation using Rest Assured
- Mobile application testing using Appium
- Design and implementation of test automation strategy
- Creating automation test plans and test estimations
- Coordinating with test teams and client-side teams
- Providing automation training and support
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of automation consulting experience is required. Candidates should hold a BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc degree and have significant expertise in Selenium, UFT, or Protractor with hands-on experience in developing frameworks using TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, and Rest Assured.
