This role is part of the national Technology Consulting practice in Toronto with a focus on SAP data migration and conversion within the financial services sector.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will ensure data integrity during SAP implementations and upgrades. You will lead data migration projects, collaborate with business stakeholders, and mentor a team to achieve excellence in data management.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data migration and conversion projects for SAP implementations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align data requirements.
  • Analyze, cleanse, and validate legacy data.
  • Design and execute data mapping and transformation processes.
  • Monitor progress and mitigate data migration risks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
  • Document migration processes and reports.
  • Train team members on best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance or related field (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 7-10 years experience in SAP data migration within financial services. Proficiency with SAP migration tools (e.g., LSMW, BODS, SAP Data Services) and a strong understanding of financial data processes and compliance is essential. SAP certification is a plus.
