The Opportunity for a Salesforce Senior Manager, Tech Consulting
This rapidly expanding area offers significant opportunities to grow your skillset in the evolving digital landscape. You will primarily work embedded with clients, offering unique business perspectives on innovation and competitiveness. As a Senior Manager in Salesforce Technology Transformation Program Delivery within Studio+, you will drive change and innovation, partnering with business and experience counterparts to lead digital transformation programs on the Salesforce platform. Your role involves providing assurance to leadership by managing scope, timelines, costs, and quality, while leading technical and non-technical teams in developing and implementing Salesforce solutions. Your Key Responsibilities
As a leader in Studio+ Salesforce Technology, you will be accountable for the effective management and delivery of complex processes, solutions, and projects, prioritizing quality and risk management. You will navigate operational and organizational dynamics to achieve performance objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Accountable for program delivery and client leadership, with architecture oversight and account growth as supplementary functions.
- Providing leadership and direction to Managers across multiple engagements and accounts.
- Leading teams with broad visibility to successfully implement solutions.
- Managing client relationships, revenue generation, and commercial relationships as required.
- Travel is required based on external client needs.
Skills and Attributes for Success
To excel as a Salesforce Senior Manager, Tech Consulting, you must possess deep insight into project and program delivery methods, including Agile and Waterfall, and the ability to solve complex problems using analysis and best practices. Additionally, you should be able to:
- Develop compelling strategic visions for clients that guide their overall business plans.
- Effectively communicate these strategic visions to clients and help them socialize the strategy internally.
- Collaborate closely with various EY teams (business, design, integration, other technology platforms, cross-service line) to ensure business requirements are integrated into the user experience and solution aligns with client vision.
- Participate in pursuit efforts, including solution development, resource estimation, pricing, RFP responses, and other business development activities.
- Contribute to domain expertise, thought leadership, and EY acumen through first-party research and maintaining points of view across Americas Consulting sectors and Studio+ capabilities.
- Partner with client services to grow key large accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
- Demonstrate experience in leading engagement delivery and managing engagement economics for entire engagements, including multiple workstreams and both on and offshore teams.
- Exhibit proficiency in developing resource plans and budgets for entire engagements.
- Manage client relationships and engage in daily interactions with clients.
- Identify sales and new opportunities within assigned accounts.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree); Master's degree preferred.
- Typically, no less than 5 - 7 years of relevant experience implementing Salesforce with teams of 5 or more people.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams of analysts and developers.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a functional or technical architecture background, aligning business requirements to Salesforce solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in developing enterprise business processes with technology skills.
- Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments, and prior consulting experience relevant to industry-specific business and technology functions.
- Ability to be a self-starter and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Willingness to travel based on client needs.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, or Mathematics desired; Master's degree in one of these areas preferred.
- One or more Salesforce Consultant Certifications and/or Salesforce Application Architect Certification.

The base salary range for this job in all US geographic locations is $171,600 to $392,100, with ranges for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) being $205,900 to $445,700. Individual salaries are determined by factors like education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
