About the QA Automation Engineer - Karate Mandatory Role

You will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure top quality and performance of software applications. Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues and maintain the highest software quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate framework and Selenium.
  • Perform manual testing as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective test plans.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
  • Execute regression, functional, and performance testing.
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-8 years of QA automation and manual testing experience.
  • Proficiency in Java and experience with the Karate framework.
  • Strong knowledge of Selenium for web application testing.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools.
