The practice combines private sector leading practices with an understanding of the public sector’s diverse needs, aiming to deliver improved public services. Government and public sector transactions services, under EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, is a market-leading, multi-disciplinary team working with businesses across various industries. This practice delivers implementable strategies leveraging the firm’s sector depth, transaction perspectives, and operational insights. The practice has experience across sectors such as Transport, Social & Health care, Education, Urban & Infrastructure, Economic Development Advisory, Water waste & Sanitation, Power & Utilities, and Public Finance & Management.

About SaT - TCF - Infrastructure Advisory

Strategy and Transactions (SaT) enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios, and reinvent for a better future. Utilizing our Capital Agenda framework, we address today’s toughest strategic, financial, operational, and commercial questions for corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, and educational institutions. From portfolio review and capital allocation to financial planning analytics, we provide the people, analytics, and tools for better capital allocation. Our team helps clients manage risk/return trade-offs for informed decision-making regarding financing and capital efficiency. Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to strategic/consulting/advisory projects for government and funding organizations.
• Drive investment promotion and policy formulation initiatives.
• Apply basic financial concepts and perform financial analysis relevant to infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Deliver insightful and practical solutions to complex client problems.

Skills and Attributes

To qualify for the role you must have:

• Qualification: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent management qualification.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or advisory, specifically with Government/Funding Organizations/CEO or Strategy office of Corporates.
• Expertise: Proven experience in Investment Promotion and Policy formulation.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Hindi and English.
• Financial Acumen: Proficiency in basic financial concepts and conversant with financial analysis concepts.
