About the Role

As a Manager or Senior Manager in the Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) team based in Auckland, you will identify client opportunities, build and nurture valuable industry relationships, and gain robust experience through training and mentorship.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Leading engagements and ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand business models and risk exposures.
  • Conducting comprehensive risk assessments across various risk types.
  • Advising on regulatory requirements and risk frameworks.
  • Supporting due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborating on technology solutions for efficient risk management.
  • Conducting training sessions on risk management best practices.
  • Contributing to EY's thought leadership in risk management.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in financial services consulting or major financial institutions is essential, with expertise in areas such as risk culture, regulatory reporting, financial crime, operational risk, risk technology, or analytics. A degree in finance, commerce, law, STEM or related fields with post-graduate qualifications is preferred. CAMS certification is an advantage.
