Responsibilities of a Manager Digital Risk - Consulting (Financial Services)

As part of our Digital Risk team, you will advise companies on successfully positioning themselves for the digital future. We consult and support our clients in identifying, evaluating, and addressing digital risks, and sustainably shape their digital transformation. In this role, you will take on diverse leadership tasks:

• Establishing holistic IKT-Compliance and Governance in the development of new digital business models, especially against the background of regulatory requirements for Digital Operational Resilience (DORA), Critical Infrastructures (KRITIS), and Artificial Intelligence (EU-AI Act), as well as other future technologies such as Blockchain/Crypto, Cloud, or Quantum Computing.
• Advising national and global banks, financial service providers, or asset managers on the management of digital and technology risks, from strategy and organization to processes and technology implementation.
• Leading consulting and implementation projects for the digitalization of technological risks in business processes and advising on the automation of processes and control activities (e.g., using Robotics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence or Agentic AI).
• Leading projects for process automation of (risk) monitoring and reporting, as well as optimizing IKT risk and control frameworks and their software-supported implementation to improve design and effectiveness.
• Supporting our clients in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of supervisory and external IKT audits, as well as assisting with IKT audits within Internal Audit.

Required Skills for a Manager Digital Risk - Consulting (Financial Services)

• Completed degree in Economics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study.
• At least five years of project, consulting, and leadership experience in the financial services sector, including confident handling of relevant IT systems and IT-Governance, Risk & Compliance processes.
• Very good communication skills in German and English (at least C1 level).
