The Learning & Development team aims to support the business in effectively and efficiently developing its people. Within our learning team, we are looking for a Learning & Development Operations Specialist (fulltime, The Hague). The work will primarily take place virtually, but locations such as Utrecht, The Hague, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam may also be used for project work. Daily activities and projects are constantly focused on Continuous Improvement. We are therefore looking for candidates who see this as a challenge and are willing and able to actively contribute to it.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Learning & Development Operations Specialist, you will support the Learning & Development team in organizing Cross Service Line training and events. In this role, you will oversee the entirety of the various learning programs and ensure a consistent, qualitative learning experience for both participants and management.
  • Coordinate training in collaboration with teams in India.
  • Provide support in the organization and planning of all training and education – Cross Service Line – in the Netherlands and work on international projects.
  • Maintain contact with training organizations, trainers, locations, internal clients, and stakeholders regarding training coordination.
  • Be present at trainings/events where onsite support is needed.
  • Be responsible for administrative tasks related to the coordination and registration of training.
  • Oversee the entirety of the various learning programs and ensure a consistent, qualitative learning experience for participants and management.
  • Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement in daily work and projects.

Skills And Attributes For Success

In this role, you will support the facilitation of training for your colleagues. We assume you are highly accurate, customer and service-oriented, communicative, and have experience in learning and operations. Additionally, as a new colleague within the Learning & Development team, you bring the following:To qualify for the role you must have:
  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player and decisive.
  • Stress resistant.
  • Ability to work and plan independently.
  • Manage task list and anticipate actions.
  • Smart, quick, and enthusiastic to tackle projects.
  • Completed bachelor's degree, preferably HRM or demonstrable HBO work/thinking level.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Growth mindset, Continuous Improvement Champion.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
  • Experience organizing training in an international, knowledge-intensive organization.

Example of Daily Activities

Administrative support for various sub-projects, including:
  • Work in Excel (pivots/Vlookup/analyses).
  • Work in SuccessFactors Learning, the Learning Management System.
  • Preparation for input into the LMS or for our stakeholders.
  • Answering emails.
  • Support the implementation process of internal tools for facilitators.
  • Complementing Joining Instructions.
  • Collaboration with teams in India.
