Our HR team consists of an HR Field organization and various HR Centers of Excellence: Learning & Development, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Services. The Learning & Development team aims to support the business in effectively and efficiently developing its people. Within our learning team, we are looking for a Learning & Development Operations Specialist, Assurance Associate (full-time, Den Haag). While work will primarily be virtual, locations such as Utrecht, Den Haag, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam may also be used for project work. Daily activities and projects are constantly focused on Continuous Improvement. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who see this as a challenge and actively want to contribute.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • As a Learning & Development Operations Specialist, Assurance Associate, you support the Learning & Development team in organizing training for SL Assurance. In this role, you oversee the entirety of various learning programs and ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience for both participants and management.
  • You are responsible for coordinating training, in collaboration with teams in India.
  • You provide support for the organization and planning of all training and education for Assurance in the Netherlands and also work on international projects.
  • You maintain contact with training organizations, trainers, locations, internal clients, and stakeholders regarding training coordination. You are present at trainings/events where onsite support is needed.
  • You are responsible for administrative tasks related to the coordination and registration of training.
  • Additionally, you maintain an overview of the various learning programs and ensure a consistent, qualitative learning experience for participants and management.
  • You are willing and able to actively contribute to Continuous Improvement in your daily work and projects.

In this role, you support the facilitation of training for your colleagues. We expect you to be highly accurate, customer- and service-oriented, and communicative. Additionally, as a new colleague within the Learning & Development team, you bring the following:

  • Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Smart, quick, and enthusiastic to tackle projects.
  • Completed bachelor's degree, preferably HRM, or demonstrable HBO (higher professional education) work/thinking level.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Growth mindset, Continuous Improvement Champion.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in organizing training within an international, knowledge-intensive organization.

Example of daily activities:

  • Administrative support for various sub-projects, including:
  • Work in Excel (pivots/Vlookup/analyses).
  • Work in SuccessFactors Learning, the Learning Management System.
  • Preparation work for input into the LMS or for our stakeholders.
  • Answering emails.
  • Support for the implementation process of internal tools for facilitators.
  • Completing Joining Instructions.
  • Collaboration with teams in India.
