Governments worldwide face significant pressures, including fiscal constraints, eroding public trust, rapid technological change, and climate challenges. This role offers the opportunity to become a developing expert on key Government & Public Sector (GPS) topics, contributing to EY's unique perspective and client solutions. Working alongside the GPS Lead Analyst, you will deliver impactful analysis and insight to senior stakeholders and clients. As your expertise grows, you will be sought after by senior partners for analytical support and strategic advice on GPS developments. Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of projects aligned with your expertise, supporting GPS executive leadership, and aligning insights priorities with the GPS Board. Deliverables will encompass thought leadership, strategic analysis, and support for regional and account teams.Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong internal brand as a recognized leader and subject matter expert within EY at the business unit and executive levels.
- Engage with senior GPS stakeholders, providing commercial perspectives on sector issues, challenges, and opportunities through insightful analysis.
- Participate in client meetings and represent EY at selected events to enhance market presence.
- Regularly interact with and present to internal EY stakeholders, supporting leaders and senior stakeholders in preparing for client meetings and events.
- Collaborate with GPS stakeholders and EY colleagues across Insights and Clients & Industries to support business development and client service delivery.
- Co-create insights and points of view with EY SMEs, focusing on an audience-first mindset and presenting them clearly and compellingly.
- Proactively contribute ideas for GPS Insights based on business priorities and sector dynamics.
- Lead the creation of specific insights by leveraging EY's proprietary knowledge and collaborating with Clients and Industries colleagues.
- Synthesize diverse perspectives and sources to develop compelling insights that drive results.
- Identify trends and translate them into key market-facing initiatives for EY.
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative research and analysis methodologies, familiar with high-quality data sources in your domain.
- Understand EY's go-to-market strategy and how Insights support exceptional client service.
- Coach less-experienced team members in research, analysis, data analytics, and visualization.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- 5-8 years of professional experience in strategy, business analysis, industry research, management consulting, or business performance, advising GPS organizations.
- Strong presentation skills, with experience influencing senior clients and internal decision-makers.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
- A proactive self-starter, capable of bringing new ideas for insights to leadership.
- Collaborative and effective in a global, multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to proactively build a network of internal and external contacts to shape insights.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
