About the Financial Due Diligence Professional Role at EY
The Strategy and Transactions (SaT) Economic Consulting department at EY provides a wide range of advisory services related to acquisition and sale transactions for private and public companies, both domestically and internationally. This department specializes in transaction support, due diligence, deal structuring, valuations, post-deal integration processes, and more. For seven consecutive years, the department has been ranked first in Israel by D&B among financial advisory departments of accounting firms.
The Financial Due Diligence and Transaction Support team advises local and international clients, including private equity funds, venture capital funds, and corporations, on some of the largest and most significant M&A deals in Israel. The team offers comprehensive financial transaction support services, including financial due diligence, Data Analytics, and in-depth financial and business analysis of target companies. This includes assessing the quality of revenues and profits, analyzing working capital, and evaluating debt, among other critical financial aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence for M&A transactions.
- Perform financial and business analysis of target companies.
- Analyze revenue quality, profitability, working capital, and debt structures.
- Utilize Data Analytics to provide actionable insights.
- Advise private equity, venture capital, and corporate clients.
- Support deal structuring and post-transaction integration processes.
- Manage complex advisory processes and client relationships.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Economics; additional degrees are a plus.
- For Manager level, at least three years of audit experience is required.
- Prior experience in due diligence is preferred.
- Previous experience in managing and mentoring employees.
- High analytical capabilities.
- Strong business acumen and orientation.
- Ability to manage complex processes effectively.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proven experience in direct client interaction.
- Very high proficiency in English.
