Role Overview
The EYP IDD Assistant Manager will join the Software Strategy Group within the EY-Parthenon GDS team. This role sits at the nexus of technology and private equity investing, working to evaluate investment opportunities in the software sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Execute technology due diligence engagements, support engagement managers, and prepare analytical reports.
- Reporting: Develop clear, concise reports and presentations outlining technological findings and recommendations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with partners, case teams, and clients while maintaining strong regional relationships.
- Quality Assurance: Mentor junior team members to ensure high quality delivery on projects.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Deep understanding of the software development process and best practices.
- Strong technical knowledge of technical architecture, technology stacks, and hosting technologies.
- Ability to assess complex technology environments in relation to business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Qualifications
- MBA with a bachelor's degree in IT or software engineering.
- 2-3 years of software-related work experience.
- Experience in transactions, particularly in Technology Due Diligence or strategic value creation.
- Knowledge of structured methodologies, product management, UI/UX design, Software Architecture, and SDLC.
