The Opportunity
In a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with evolving regulations, you will:
- Conduct data protection due diligence reviews (APIAs)
- Interpret data protection laws and policies
- Develop procedures for compliance and monitor controls
- Collaborate with functions like Talent, Finance, and Quality
- Create compliance reports for senior leaders
Your Key Responsibilities
You will support EY Americas Data Protection by:
- Reviewing business processes and processing activities
- Documenting and assisting with investigations of data incidents
- Maintaining confidential and personal information inventories
- Participating in ad-hoc Data Protection and Privacy projects
Skills and Attributes for Success
Successful candidates are expected to have strong communication, problem-solving, research and project management skills and a working knowledge of common software packages. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; advanced degrees and privacy certifications are a plus.
