Role Overview

The Data Protection and Privacy Assistant Director role supports risk management by managing and mitigating risks related to data protection and privacy. You will work closely with Legal, IT, Investigations, and Executive Leadership to coordinate incident response, data inventory management, and data subject rights process while interpreting data protection regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage confidential and personal information inventory.
• Coordinate and respond to data subject rights and access requests.
• Conduct and assist with investigations of data incidents.
• Collaborate with Information Security to design data protection controls.
• Monitor changes in data protection laws and policies.
• Report data protection activities and maintain stakeholder communications.
• Assist in developing and updating EY U.S. data protection policies and trainings.
