The Opportunity

Work in an evolving risk environment where technology and regulatory changes create both risks and opportunities. As a Data Risk Manager, you will manage confidential and personal information, coordinate investigations of data incidents, and work closely with various internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage EY confidential and personal information inventory for regulatory compliance.
  • Respond to data subject rights and internal data access requests.
  • Investigate data incidents and develop remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with Information Security to implement data protection controls.
  • Develop and execute strategies for the Data Risk Management function.
  • Track evolving data protection laws and update policies accordingly.
  • Coordinate efforts across Legal, IT, Investigations and Executive Leadership.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, make independent decisions and manage risk under pressure.
  • Experience with data protection technologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Capability to train and supervise teams effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Graduate degree preferred. 4-6+ years of relevant experience. Privacy certification such as CIPP, CIPM, or CDPSE is a plus.
