The Opportunity
As a Communications Assistant Director aligned to select US Offices, you will provide leadership for the development and execution of integrated internal communications strategies that support EY’s growth, reputation and market presence in select US locations. You will serve as a trusted communications advisor to Office leadership, helping translate business strategy, market dynamics and firm priorities into compelling, audience‑centric narratives. This role operates in a fast‑paced, highly matrixed environment and requires strong judgment, executive presence and the ability to lead strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead communications strategies in support of US Office priorities, ensuring alignment with firm strategy and leadership objectives
- Serve as a communications advisor to Office and Market leaders, providing counsel on positioning, messaging, reputation management and issues response
- Shape and oversee narratives that highlight EY’s market leadership, client impact, economic perspective and strategic priorities
- Lead integrated communications across channels, including leadership messaging, internal communications, social and digital platforms
- Partner closely with Talent, Marketing and other functional leaders to ensure consistent, coordinated storytelling across the firm
- Set frameworks, processes and governance to enable effective planning, prioritization and execution across communications teams
- Use data and insights to measure communications effectiveness and continuously refine strategy
- Foster a high‑performance, collaborative team culture

- Experience leading corporate, market‑facing or leadership communications in a complex, matrixed organization

Ideally, you’ll also have
- 7-8 years of experience in communications, business operations or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations
- Familiarity with engagement analytics and reporting tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholders

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $99,300 to $185,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $119,100 to $210,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
