The Opportunity
As the Associate Director, APAC Public Policy, you will strengthen EY’s APAC Public Policy function. Reporting to the APAC Leader, you will provide strategic capacity and specialized expertise to influence policy in audit and assurance, sustainability, digital transformation, financial services, and geopolitical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze policy trends to guide leadership decisions.
- Develop and present EY’s viewpoints in public consultations and leadership communications.
- Engage with senior government officials, policymakers, industry leaders and trade associations.
- Manage key relationships with external regulatory bodies and internal leadership.
- Advise on policy, legislative and regulatory developments particularly in AI and digital technologies.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Strong expertise in global and regional policy trends, especially in APAC. Deep knowledge of AI, digital technology, cybersecurity, and legislative processes. Excellent stakeholder engagement, diplomatic communication, and cultural sensitivity are required. Familiarity with EY’s structure and the professional services industry is a plus.
