The Opportunity
This role strengthens EY’s APAC Public Policy function by providing strategic capacity and specialized expertise in areas including audit and assurance, sustainability, digital transformation, financial services and geopolitical issues. You will serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on policy, legislative, and regulatory developments, with an emphasis on AI and emerging digital technologies across APAC jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze policy trends to inform leadership decisions.
- Represent EY’s viewpoints in public consultations and communications.
- Engage with senior government officials, regulators, and industry leaders.
- Maintain and advance strategic stakeholder relationships externally and internally.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistent advocacy messaging.
Skills and Attributes For Success
Strong expertise in global and regional policy trends, AI and digital technology policy, legislative processes, and regulatory frameworks. Advanced stakeholder engagement skills and familiarity with EY’s organizational structure and the professional services industry, especially within the Big-Four accounting networks.
