About the Role

We are currently looking to hire an AI & Data Financial Consulting Manager for our Finance Consulting area in Madrid or Barcelona, with more than 7 years of experience in consulting, having spent the last 3 or 4 years on projects related to the Transformation of the Finance Function driven by Data & AI, both nationally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of Finance Transformation projects where AI plays a key role.
• Defining the value/ROI agenda for AI in the Finance Function from various perspectives: Value, Innovation, Processes, Organization, Information Systems & Data.
• Design and re-engineering of end-to-end financial processes, aimed at improving effectiveness (value agenda), efficiency, and control, supported by AI and other emerging technologies.
• Design and implementation of Data & Analytics CoEs.
• Design and implementation of data models for the financial function.
• Digital Finance – Transformation of the Function under an integrated approach of Digitalization with the application of new technologies and ways of working, including AI in all its maturity levels (traditional AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI), in combination with ‘traditional’ finance area technologies.
• Data governance model and AI governance model.
• People strategy for effective AI adoption in the Finance area.
• Support/Advisory for implementation and change management from the performance of the Finance Transformation Office and PMO.
• Leadership in interaction with CFOs, their direct reports, and CDOs.
• Innovation and development of new technologies and use cases that add value to the Finance Function.
• Business development: Leading the approach, management, and preparation of commercial proposals.
• Team leadership, being a reference and mentor for managers and consultants.

Candidate Requirements

• We are looking for proactive, innovative professionals eager to get involved in the development of new solutions that accelerate our clients' transformation processes.
• Ability to understand trends, EY assets, and build solutions for the Spanish market, in coordination with our Data & AI center and its +100 professionals.
• Over 7 years of experience in similar positions, managing programs in the aforementioned areas:
  • Diagnosis and transformation of the Finance area.
  • Optimization and improvement of financial processes based on the use of technology (PTP, OTC, RTR…).
  • Design and implementation of AI models for finance: traditional AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI.
  • Value office of the transformation office related to the use of AI and other Finance technologies.
• Necessary skills in project management, team management, communication, leadership, and accustomed to collaborating in multidisciplinary environments with a strong client orientation.
• Very high level of interaction, professionals accustomed to dealing with CFOs, CTOs, CDOs, and other members of the Management Committee.
• Advanced English level (C1).
• Previous experience in international projects will be highly valued.
• Knowledge and experience in some of the reference technologies for the Finance area and how they are enhanced with the use of AI are positively valued: SAP S4/Hana FI-CO/PA, SAC, Blackline, Celonis, PowerBi, OneStream, Kyriba or XRT, AI, among others.
