Are you ready to shape your future with confidence? At EY-Parthenon, the role of Data Engineer Consultant - Strategy & Transactions goes beyond traditional strategy consulting. You will work alongside CEOs, boards, and private equity firms, supporting transformation from the first strategic thought to successful execution.

Your Responsibilities

As a member of the Data & Analytics team in Germany (Hamburg, Berlin, München, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt/Main), you will:

  • Perform reliable analyses throughout the deal and transformation cycle.
  • Advise national and international clients to improve business growth and performance.
  • Design and implement BI/Analytics solutions using Spark platforms, relational databases (Synapse, Databricks, SQL), MS Fabrics, ADF, dbt and Power BI.
  • Develop scalable data solutions to meet diverse analysis needs.
  • Conduct complex analyses to extract trends and enable strategic recommendations.
  • Utilize AI, including GenAI and Machine Learning, to solve real problems and foster a data-driven culture.

Your Skillset

You should have:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with version control systems.
  • Experience with data engineering, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines using the Azure stack.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience as a Senior Consultant.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments and agile methodologies.
  • An above-average academic background in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English.
