Job Summary

Express Scripts is seeking a Clinical Program Advisor to contribute to the direction of the company’s clinical products and services by critically evaluating relevant literature and providing training and education on clinical concepts. This remote role offers the opportunity to impact clinical strategies and collaborate across various internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide clinical expertise to internal and external customers.
  • Critically evaluate literature to develop, maintain, and update clinical criteria.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional committees, such as the Therapeutic Assessment Committee.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction for ESI’s core standard clinical products and services criteria development and/or targeting.
  • Complete complex clinical projects under supervised situations.
  • Deliver clinical internal and external presentations on ESI’s standard products or complex clinical concepts.

What You Need To Do The Job

  • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (highly preferred) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
  • Advanced clinical experience/training/certifications are also preferred.
  • Completion of a clinical residency or at least 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Current US Pharmacist Licensure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to clinical services and company goals.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional committees or workgroups.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritization.
  • Ability to function under stressful situations.
  • Clinical expertise and understanding of clinical arena/issues across all points of pharmaceutical care.
  • Requires a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection (at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload) for remote work.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual salary for this position ranges from $95,500 to $159,100 USD, depending on factors such as experience and geographic location. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus plan.
