About Trade Consultant

This role is part of an ecosystem aimed at establishing RH as a global thought leader in taste and place making.

Role Overview

The Trade Consultant will deliver first-class service to trade clientele, working closely with the Residential Trade Leader to grow the RH Trade business within the Gallery. The role focuses on relationship building, consultations, gallery tours, and project management in the luxury and design industry.

Responsibilities

  • Embody RH's vision, values, and beliefs.
  • Provide a luxury experience through expert product knowledge and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Trade Leader to grow trade business.
  • Qualify and partner with existing and potential trade clientele via consultations, gallery tours, and site visits.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams and ensure fiscal goals are met.
  • Maintain strong industry awareness and interior design community relevancy.

Requirements

  • Experience in high-end furniture showrooms, luxury retail, or design firms.
  • Proven relationship management within the interior design/trade community.
  • Strategic, highly organized and results-driven.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with passion for growing a trade business.
  • Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Basic to proficient knowledge of interpreting floor plans is preferred.

Physical Requirements

The role requires local or out-of-state travel, frequent lifting of items up to 25 lbs, and maneuvering around gallery environments including stock rooms and offices using proper safety techniques.
