About the Role: Procurement Assistant at Experis

Experis is seeking a highly organized and analytical Procurement Assistant to join their client, a leader in supply chain and logistics. This contract role, within the Procurement Logistics department, supports critical operations by managing vendor onboarding, maintaining logistics systems, and contributing to annual bid processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication and analytical skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in onboarding new vendors, ensuring documentation and timely completion.
  • Maintain and update logistics systems daily, managing over a thousand lanes accurately.
  • Create and update job aids for system activities and provide user training.
  • Support Customer Pick-Up (CPU) system updates and prepare progress reports.
  • Participate in annual bid processes, including contract preparation and carrier follow-ups.

What You'll Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Power BI.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, coupled with strong analytical abilities.
