Part-Time Accessibility Software Tester
Our client, a leader in digital accessibility and assistive technology, seeks a Part-Time Accessibility Software Tester. You will support digital product development and quality assurance teams by conducting manual accessibility testing using screen readers and refreshable Braille displays. This role is remote, offering flexible work hours and the opportunity to contribute to inclusive technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual accessibility tests using screen readers and Braille displays.
- Review embossed Braille documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and document accessibility issues in digital content.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams on WCAG standards.
- Provide recommendations to enhance user experience.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Braille reading including embossed and refreshable formats.
- Experience with screen reader software (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- Familiarity with WCAG guidelines, ARIA roles, and accessibility tools.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
