Reporting Specialist Role

As a Reporting Specialist, you will transform business needs into actionable insights by analyzing data and automating reporting workflows. You will support the end-to-end operational performance of global teams and assist leadership with identifying performance drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation of reporting workflows by integrating data using SQL and Python.
• Craft complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Design and maintain robust data pipelines for timely insights.
• Consolidate data from diverse systems into unified reporting structures.
• Support dashboard development by preparing optimized datasets for Tableau.
• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, performance issues, and logic errors.
• Identify and automate manual reporting tasks to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with business leads to translate reporting needs into scalable solutions.
• Maintain documentation of queries, scripts, and data flows.
• Support business metrics reviews and train reporting staff.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Finance Operations, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management.
• Hands-on experience in reporting, analyzing, and validating large data sets.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and Python for data extraction and automation.
• Strong communication skills to present insights across organizational levels.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural, global team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikSense.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in training others for self-service analytics.
• Background in the travel or technology industry.
