About the Global Regulatory Operations Manager Role
As a Global Regulatory Operations Manager at Expedia Group, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts while managing a portfolio of regulatory initiatives. You will be responsible for delegating and prioritizing work, coaching your team, and collaborating across departments including Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Tax, Legal, and Government Affairs. Your role involves translating legal requirements into operational and technical specifications and driving operational excellence and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of analysts to meet regulatory requirements.
- Translate legal, policy, and business requirements into clear specifications.
- Manage daily workloads, stakeholder communications, and reporting.
- Drive operational excellence through automation and standardization.
- Coordinate vendor/third-party work as needed.
Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years in Regulatory Operations or related fields.
- 3+ years managing analysts or similar roles.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Confluence, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Strong communication, stakeholder, and risk management skills.
- Acute attention to detail and a passion for problem solving.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay varies by location. For example, in Austin and Seattle the range is approximately $110,500 to $155,000 with potential up to $177,000 based on performance, while in Springfield it ranges from $84,000 to $117,500 with potential up to $134,500. In addition, Expedia Group offers benefits including medical/dental/vision coverage, paid time off, travel perks, and more.
