Role Overview
As the Project Manager Contaminated Sites, based in the Burnaby, BC office and reporting to the Director of Environmental Services, Western Canada, you will manage a portfolio of environmental investigation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of environmental investigation projects including Phase I & II ESA’s, PSIs, and Remediation work.
- Plan and coordinate fieldwork, both locally and out-of-town.
- Drive business development through client management and proposal preparation.
- Review project budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Prepare and review reports and submissions to the BC Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Strategy.
- Oversee provincial/federal contaminated sites assessments and coordinate with risk assessors.
- Supervise junior and intermediate professionals.
Qualifications
- 7-12 years of environmental consulting experience in BC.
- University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or Geoscience.
- Professional status (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag.).
- Proven project management experience with diverse projects.
- Excellent client communication and business development skills.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
