Role Overview

As the Project Manager Contaminated Sites, based in the Burnaby, BC office and reporting to the Director of Environmental Services, Western Canada, you will manage a portfolio of environmental investigation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of environmental investigation projects including Phase I & II ESA’s, PSIs, and Remediation work.
  • Plan and coordinate fieldwork, both locally and out-of-town.
  • Drive business development through client management and proposal preparation.
  • Review project budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Prepare and review reports and submissions to the BC Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Strategy.
  • Oversee provincial/federal contaminated sites assessments and coordinate with risk assessors.
  • Supervise junior and intermediate professionals.

Qualifications

  • 7-12 years of environmental consulting experience in BC.
  • University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or Geoscience.
  • Professional status (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag.).
  • Proven project management experience with diverse projects.
  • Excellent client communication and business development skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
