As Head of Data Analytics, you will own the analytical backbone of the company. Your team is the monitoring and insight function across the business, ensuring that changes in spend, revenue, user behavior, and partner performance are visible, understood, and acted on quickly. Reporting to our CPO, you will work closely with the C-level team and our parent group to guide decision-making with clear, trusted data.

What You’ll Own as Head of Data Analytics

  • Leading the Analytics Function: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing data analytics and data science team that supports the business with trusted insights that define the future and success of our business model. Set clear expectations, priorities, and standards for how analytics operates at exmox.
  • Company-wide Performance Monitoring: Own the end-to-end monitoring of business performance across marketing spend, revenue, user activity, product economy, and partner outcomes. Ensure the organization has a clear, real-time view of what is happening and why.
  • Early Signal Detection: Guide your team in designing analytical frameworks that surface deviations, risks, and opportunities early, while applying a consultancy mindset to build stakeholder trust and position analytics as a strategic driver of business decisions.
  • Predicting the Future: Partner closely with Data Engineering to design, build, and operationalize predictive user behavior models that drive actionable decisions, optimize revenue potential, and enhance growth strategies.
  • Decision Support at Leadership Level: Position the analytics team as a trusted partner to the C-level and stakeholders. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that directly inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Growth and Unit Economics Ownership: Ensure the organization has a clear, shared understanding of the trade-offs between marketing spend, monetization, and user behavior. Guide leadership on spend efficiency, revenue quality, and lifetime value to support sustainable growth decisions.
  • Cross-functional Analytical Alignment: Work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure shared definitions, consistent metrics, and aligned understanding of performance drivers.
  • Scaling Analytics with the Business: Build and evolve the analytics function as the company grows, increasing sophistication without slowing decision-making.

Your Profile

  • Proven Analytics Leadership: Experience leading analytics or data insight teams in fast-moving, performance-driven environments, ideally with high scale B2C focus.
  • Data Science-driven Impact: Ability to guide Data Scientists in building predictive models and segmentation frameworks that translate complex user behavior into measurable product and business outcomes.
  • Strong Business and Growth Understanding: Comfort working with performance marketing, user behavior, revenue models, and unit economics in performance-driven digital businesses such as ad tech, mobile gaming, or rewarded user acquisition.
  • Proactive, Ownership-driven Mindset: Take initiative in identifying risks and opportunities. Surface insights early and drive clarity in decision-making.
  • Executive-level Communication: Ability to represent analytics confidently at C-level and group level, translating complexity into clarity.
  • Velocity over Perfection Mindset: Move fast to achieve incremental improvements rather than focusing on risk mitigation and edge cases. Drive fundamental business value with a move and fail fast mentality.
  • Hands-On and Collaborative Leadership: Balance strategic leadership with strong analytical and technical depth. Partner closely with Data Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to enable scalable analytics and machine learning initiatives. Strong technical foundation in SQL, Python, Tableau, and Databricks.
