About the Project Manager Lead - L&A Role

We are seeking an experienced Life and Annuity Project Manager to lead and manage complex initiatives in the life insurance and annuity landscape. The role demands deep domain expertise, strong understanding of the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) ecosystem, and the ability to drive projects from end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Product Knowledge: Leverage life and annuity expertise for project design and implementation.
  • Resource Management: Oversee cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Regulatory & Risk Management: Ensure compliance and proactively manage project risks.
  • Budget & Quality Assurance: Monitor budgets and maintain high standards for deliverables.
  • AI Initiatives: Lead implementation of AI-driven automation and analytics within projects.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
  • Team Leadership & Problem Solving: Motivate teams and resolve project challenges effectively.

Skills and Qualifications

  • BS degree with 5-10 years of technology project management experience.
  • Agile/Scrum and/or PMI certification preferred.
  • Proven project management success within life insurance and annuity products and TPA operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and technical proficiency in project management tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
