Job Summary

The Loan Servicing Representative will perform recovery efforts to minimize losses on delinquent accounts (5 to 80 days past due) and handle various customer service inquiries such as interest accrual, pay dates, and due date change requests. This role requires both auto dialing and manual dialing to negotiate with customers, accurately document all account activities, and support other departments as needed.

Job Duties

  • Engage with customers to satisfy deficient balances.
  • Review and monitor delinquent accounts daily.
  • Document account activities including verifications and demographic changes.
  • Meet individual and departmental performance objectives.
  • Notify management of accounts needing further attention.
  • Ensure compliance with Exeter policies, regulations, and laws.
  • Perform backup duties for other departments as required.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred), 0-3+ years collections experience or equivalent education/training. Experience in finance or credit and familiarity with loan documentation is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and SHAW Collections/Retail is preferred.
