This contract opportunity as an Information Security Analyst is remote and involves proactive Managed Security and Governance services.
What You E2 80 99ll Do
In this role, you will safeguard client environments through security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability assessments, and policy compliance.
- Analyze Azure-hosted systems using Defender for Cloud and Defender XDR/EDR.
- Continuously monitor logs with Microsoft Sentinel and perform threat hunting using KQL.
- Lead incident response processes and develop automated remediation workflows with Azure Logic Apps.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend risk management strategies.
- Develop security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
The Skills You Need
Required technical skills include hands-on experience with Azure Sentinel, KQL, network security tools, and vulnerability assessments. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with minimum 3 years in cybersecurity and at least 2 years of experience with Azure Sentinel. Relevant certifications (SC-200, AZ-500, etc.) preferred.
