Overview

Nuon is seeking its first Developer Advocate. In this early-stage role at ExecutivePlacements.com - The JOB Portal, you will drive community engagement by inspiring, informing, and involving developers.

Responsibilities

  • Shepherd and energize the developer community both online and in-person.
  • Write blog posts, speak at conferences, create demonstrations and lead Q&A sessions.
  • Create technical content such as blogs, eBooks, documentation, tutorials, videos and demos.
  • Engage with users on forums, social channels and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer or developer advocate.
  • Fluency with modern deployment stacks and BYOC deployment patterns.
  • Active participation in technical communities (GitHub, Medium, Stack Overflow, etc.).
  • Excellent speaking, presentation, and writing skills aimed at developer audiences.
  • Strong people skills; ability to work across cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% and attend evening meetups in the SF Bay Area if local.
