Overview
At Exact Sciences, we’re changing how the world prevents, detects and treats cancer. As a Health Equity Impact Intern, you will support the Health Equity and Access team by evaluating and enhancing the impact of field-based health equity initiatives. You will leverage enterprise CRM tools and field-reported data to assess engagement, outreach, and support activities. You will also help build a strategic dashboard and identify priority markets using social determinants of health and demographic data.
Essential Duties
- Analyze field team engagement data for qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Assist in health equity projects for healthcare systems, providers, communities, and patients.
- Contribute to building a dashboard visualizing milestones and account management results.
- Recommend improvements in data collection and reporting tools using CRM platforms.
- Integrate SDOH, demographic, and field engagement data to target strategic areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver presentations and reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Data Science, or a related field. Must have strong analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and familiarity with large datasets. Experience or coursework in health equity, social determinants of health, or community health is preferred. Excellent communication, independent and collaborative work skills are essential.
Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $35,000 to $56,000. Additional benefits include paid time off, retirement savings plan, health benefits, and wellness support.
