Job Overview

Evolving Web is seeking a seasoned Chef de projets Senior Project Manager to manage web design and development projects. The role involves overseeing projects from conception to completion in an agile environment, ensuring both client satisfaction and team engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects from conception to development using agile methodologies.
  • Create project timelines and monitor internal processes.
  • Collaborate with creative and development teams.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and status reporting.
  • Assign tasks to designers and developers and track progress.
  • Act as the client representative at Evolving Web.
  • Supervise a team of developers and provide regular feedback.
  • Provide insights and suggestions as projects evolve.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years managing technical projects in digital environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Proven understanding of web development, applications, and technical concepts.
  • Knowledge of Drupal and WordPress.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Redmine, Basecamp, etc.).
  • Understanding of web usability, accessibility, and UX best practices.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Culture Fit

  • Fluency in French is a bonus.
  • Experience with institutional clients.
  • For remote applicants: available during Montreal working hours and comfortable using tools like Slack.
