Job Description

Overview

The Multimedia Producer is responsible for both content production and post-production execution, transforming creative concepts and captured footage into high-quality visual assets that support EIM’s university partners and the Evidence in Motion brand. This role works as part of a collaborative production team, partnering with another producer/editor to ensure continuity, coverage, and scalability across video and photography initiatives.

This role balances hands-on editing with production support, contributing across the full lifecycle of visual content from planning and capture through delivery. In addition, this role supports the ongoing development and organization of EIM’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) practices to ensure assets are accessible, reusable, and well-governed as the function matures. This position supports multiple active programs and partners simultaneously, balancing new program launches with ongoing content needs in a fast-paced environment.

Travel is required to support on-location shoots, events, and partner engagements.

Responsibilities

Video & Photo Production Support
  • Support planning and execution of video and photo shoots in partnership with the Manager, Video & Photo Production
  • Participate in on-site and remote shoots, supporting capture, setup, and creative execution
  • Assist with lighting, audio, framing, and equipment setup as needed
  • Support content capture for campaigns, program launches, events, and brand initiatives
  • Proactively identify production needs, risks, and opportunities during pre-production and on-site execution
Video & Photo Editing
  • Edit video content for a variety of use cases including brand storytelling, program marketing, social media, paid media, and events
  • Edit and retouch photography to meet brand standards and creative direction
  • Apply color correction, sound editing, motion graphics, and basic animation as needed
  • Optimize content for channel-specific requirements including format, length, and resolution
  • Collaborate early in the creative process to influence shot lists and capture plans based on post-production needs
Creative Collaboration & Team Continuity
  • Partner closely with the Manager, Video & Photo Production and fellow producer/editor to align on creative intent, priorities, and timelines
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, and marketing teams to ensure visual content supports messaging and campaign goals
  • Share production knowledge, documentation, and context to support continuity and coverage across projects
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Serve as a core production partner within cross-functional creative pods supporting program launches and campaigns
Brand & Quality Standards
  • Ensure all video and photo assets align with university’s brand identity, tone, and storytelling principles
  • Maintain high standards of polish, accuracy, and attention to detail across deliverables
  • Contribute creative ideas and execution improvements to elevate visual storytelling
  • Demonstrate strong brand discernment — adapting visual storytelling across distinct university brands while maintaining cohesion with the EIM parent brand

Digital Asset Management & Workflow Support
  • Support organization, labeling, tagging, and version control of video and photo assets
  • Contribute to defining and documenting best practices for asset storage, usage rights, and accessibility
  • Partner with the Creative Director and production leadership on DAM implementation and ongoing governance
  • Actively contribute to reducing operational friction and improving creative throughput through better workflows and asset practices
Travel & On-Location Support
  • Travel as needed to support content capture at events, partner locations, and internal shoots
  • Represent Creative Services professionally while working with partners, faculty, and stakeholders
  • Support on-site troubleshooting and execution as needed
  • Serve as a trusted on-site representative of EIM’s Creative Services team

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in video and photo production and editing
  • Proficiency with editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop
  • Demonstrated experience producing and editing content across multiple formats and channels
  • Comfort supporting both production and post-production workflows
  • Strong organizational skills and interest in workflow and asset management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based production model
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving creative environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a cross-functional environment

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience working in higher education, healthcare, or academic environments, particularly capturing learning, lab, or clinical settings
  • Familiarity with multi-brand or agency-style production environments supporting multiple clients or partners
  • Experience with motion graphics, animated titles, or light visual effects beyond basic editing
  • Drone operation or experience with aerial photography/videography (FAA Part 107 a plus)
  • Experience producing content for paid media and performance marketing, not just brand or social
  • Strong understanding of storytelling for student recruitment and enrollment marketing
  • Comfort directing non-professional on-camera talent such as faculty, students, or staff
  • Experience capturing live events, conferences, or immersive learning experiences
  • Working knowledge of production workflows, shot lists, call sheets, and pre-production planning
  • Interest in building and refining creative operations, including SOPs, templates, and asset systems
