About EAII Advisors and Evidence Action

This position is with EAII Advisors, Evidence Action’s technical partner in India. EAII Advisors supports state governments in delivering evidence-based public health programs such as safe drinking water initiatives and National Deworming Day interventions including IFA supplementation, targeting improved health outcomes for children and families.

Evidence Action delivers data-driven interventions at scale, collaborating with governments across 9 countries to improve public health. Their programs have reached hundreds of millions, delivering billions in productivity gains and saving numerous lives.

The Role: State Program Officer

Reporting to the State Program Manager, the State Program Officer anchors the execution of Evidence Action’s technical assistance model in Jharkhand. The role involves adapting program strategy to the state context, preparing comprehensive implementation plans and supporting training cascades, community mobilization, and monitoring of EAII-supported programs.

  • Policy Advocacy: Coordinate briefs, stakeholder meetings and resource integration.
  • Program Design & Development: Develop IFA implementation plans and M&E tools.
  • Program Management: Manage work plans, field visits, and team guidance.
  • Knowledge Management: Document success stories and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work with government departments and regional coordinators.
