Growth Analyst

Everyday Health is seeking a Growth Analyst to join their Consumer division. This role is crucial for analyzing marketing data to identify market trends, understand consumer behavior, and generate insights that will shape business strategies for brands like Everyday Health, Migraine Again, and DailyOM.

The Opportunity

This position goes beyond basic reporting to deliver deep, actionable insights that will influence marketing strategy, enhance campaign performance, and discover new revenue streams across key marketing channels including email, web, content syndication, and partnerships. The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, and detail-oriented, possessing strong quantitative skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives. You will collaborate with data experts across BI, Product, and other research teams to support the company's mission of inspiring healthier lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary analytical partner for the Marketing and Content teams, integrating data-driven insights into their planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports for key marketing KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for marketing data structures, ensuring consistent metric definitions and usage.
  • Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses of marketing performance data to identify root causes, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze user data to map customer journeys, identifying friction points and opportunities for personalization and optimization.
  • Partner with Marketing to define and prioritize A/B testing hypotheses, analyze results, and document best practices.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and BI teams on marketing forecasting, budget planning, and predictive modeling.
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, including strategies, messaging, and product features, to inform strategic positioning.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years in a Growth Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Insights role, preferably in B2C, media, or subscription-based digital businesses.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics (CPA, LTV, ROI, conversion rates, email metrics, web analytics).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Analytics, SQL, and data visualization tools (Lookerstudio, Domo) is required.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business decisions.
  • Collaboration & Project Management: Strong cross-functional teamwork, project management, and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000. Actual pay is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location, scope of the role, capabilities, education, training, and company performance.
