About the Role

This Sales Counselor position offers an estimated first-year earnings range of $60,000 - $90,000 including hourly wage and commission, with uncapped commission potential. The role involves selling pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory, as well as cemetery services, property, and merchandise. You will assist families with funeral selections and attend services. Leads are generated through walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting. Note: Training pay is $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales)
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and high discretion
  • Ability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed
