About the Role

This Sales Counselor role at Everstory Partners offers estimated first-year earnings ranging from $50,000 to $80,000 including hourly wage and commission. The position involves selling pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory, in addition to cemetery services, property, and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services.

Leads are generated through a mix of walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting. Initial training is compensated at $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales.
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with a CRM (lead management system preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends.
