This Sales Counselor role offers potential first-year earnings of $45,000 - $80,000, combining hourly wage and uncapped commission. The position involves selling pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery services, property, and merchandise. The role also includes assisting families with funeral selections and attending services. Leads are generated through walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting. Training is provided at $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales.
  • At least 1 year of sales experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle required for offsite appointments and community events.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) and experience with a CRM system.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
