This position offers a lucrative quarterly incentive plan with the ability to earn up to 100% of base salary.

The Impact You Will Make

The Assistant Sales Manager at Everstory is a sales professional who leads by example, demonstrating the highest level of customer care. You will coach your team of Sales Counselors and share best practices to ensure optimal service and sales outcomes. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring attainment of assigned sales quotas and maximizing sales.
  • Coaching and counseling Sales Staff for high quality customer service.
  • Training staff to achieve the best presentation results for customers.
  • Reviewing daily results and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Meeting with clients to develop comprehensive Family History Folders.
  • Scheduling Family Service employees to ensure constant coverage.
  • Providing at-need clients with full range of options and services.
  • Responding promptly to on-site issues and coordinating solutions with other departments.

The role requires strong compassion, customer focus, and a high ethical standard. You must demonstrate empathy, maintain professionalism, and earn the trust of grieving families while supporting your team.

Requirements

  • Ability to empathize with grieving families and maintain professionalism.
  • 1-2 years of direct sales experience (preferably in the Cemetery industry) or 2-3 years outside the industry.
  • At least one year of supervisory or management experience within a sales capacity.
  • Ability to implement effective sales methods in a competitive environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma required and a valid state driver's license.
  • Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
