About the Role
The Sales Counselor role at Everstory Partners focuses on selling pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery services, property, and merchandise. The position assists families with funeral selections and attends services.
Estimated first-year earnings, including hourly wage and commission: $50,000 with uncapped commission opportunities. Training is provided at $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell funeral and cemetery services.
- Assist families with selections and attend services.
- Generate and nurture leads via walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting.
- Manage appointments offsite including client meetings and community events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
- Minimum 1 year sales experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) and experience with CRM systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends.
