Senior Software Engineer - EverAI
EverAI is building the future of AI companionship, aiming to connect people with AI in new ways. With 50 million users in just two years, we are one of the fastest-growing AI companies globally. Our flagship product is the world’s largest AI companionship platform, governed by our proprietary moderation system, EverGuard, ensuring safety and ethical development.
About the Team
We are a passionate and hardworking team of approximately 75 individuals. Our founding team has a strong track record of building and scaling web products, including taking companies from inception to IPO. Key members include Alexis Soulopoulos (CEO), Michael Monin (Co-founder & CTO), Thomas Lacroix (Co-founder & CMO), and Maruša Fasano (CFO/Legal), all with extensive experience in tech leadership, entrepreneurship, and finance.
Your Role
As our tech team expands, we are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers to help build and scale our product. You will contribute to defining our roadmap, finding optimal technical solutions, and running experiments to bring new ideas to life. Reporting to the Tech Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Product Managers to review project specifications.
- Preparing integration plans, task breakdowns, and estimations.
- Implementing code, managing pull requests, conducting code reviews, and performing testing.
You will work closely with Michael (Co-founder & CTO), the product team, and the engineering team, including web developers, SREs, and data scientists.

Your Qualifications
Must-haves
- 5+ years of experience as a back-end or full-stack software engineer.
- Experience in tech scale-ups or similarly agile and fast-paced environments.
- Experience with large-scale products used by thousands of monthly users.
- Perfect fluency in English with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- An ownership and commitment mindset; a doer mentality balancing craftsmanship with velocity.
- User-centricity and pride in building amazing user experiences.
- Comfort with building products based on uncensored models and content (#NSFW).
Bonus points
- Past experience or interest in data science and generative AI (NLP, ML, MLOps, etc.).
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
