The Challenge
Eventbrite is looking for a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis who will lead the FP&A team reporting to our Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience in corporate and operations finance and will be a strong leader with the energy and capacity to get the job done while mentoring a growing organization.
The Team
The business decisions at Eventbrite are guided by careful analysis. We need a detail oriented FP&A leader who can integrate data from various work streams to form a comprehensive view of revenue and costs while driving an improved financial culture.
The Role
As a key member of the corporate Finance team, the VP of FP&A will drive strategic planning, financial planning, business modeling, forecasting, and management reporting in partnership with the CFO.
You Will
- Lead FP&A, Analytics, and expense management across the organization.
- Partner cross-functionally to provide broad financial insight and decision support.
- Direct management reporting, including KPIs, dashboards, and business trends.
- Create analyses and presentation materials for Board and leadership meetings.
- Deliver regular financial updates, performance analyses, and forecasts.
- Maintain a three-year strategic financial plan and business model.
- Support M&A due diligence with robust financial models.
- Improve financial planning tools and processes through analysis.
- Assist with the monthly accounting close using detailed financial analyses.
- Provide ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis for special projects.
The Skill Set
Minimum 10 years of diversified finance experience with proficiency in database systems and financial modeling tools. You must have world-class forecasting talent, innovative problem solving to create non-traditional accountability measures, and the ability to mentor a global team. Experience in international finance, an MBA from a top-tier business school, and background in accounting, tax, or actuarial work are bonus points. Familiarity with SQL and other data analytics tools is an advantage.
