Position Overview
The Unified Communication Systems Engineer role at the European Investment Bank (EIB) is a full-time temporary position based at the Luxembourg headquarters. This is a 3-year contract linked to the CAPEX Programme for a new building. The role demands regular office presence in a multicultural environment, offering relocation assistance.
Purpose
In this role, you will design and deliver unified communication systems to support secure, high-quality communication services in meeting and board rooms. You will work on technology roadmaps, coordinate various projects, and contribute directly to the EIB Group’s IT infrastructure enhancement.
Operating Network and Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and monitor unified communication systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including New Building Unit and IT.
- Identify issues and assist in system upgrades and patch management.
- Support capacity monitoring and scalability assessments.
- Draft accurate documentation and comply with security requirements.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and an understanding of security principles is required. Proficiency in English and French is essential.
